Hi there, my name is Lyn Price and I live on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. As a child I always had the desire to draw, always had a pencil and pad at hand. My mother taught me to knit and by the age of 10 I was knitting detailed cabled and patterned jumps which impressed my craft teachers.

Later in life I owned a haberdashery store which gave me the outlet to create many personalised knitted items for my customers. After selling the haberdashery I then went on to buy a concreting business which specialised in concrete statues, garden seats, bird baths, which was sold to nurseries and at markets. After selling the business, as it was taking its toll on the body, my creative urge was restless so in 2013 I started to dapple in oil painting. It’s now my love, I’m still learning, still creating, open to all new forms of painting. We all have our own style, that I think makes us unique.

I am now in my mid sixties and paint as often as possible in my studio that my wonderful husband built for me, hopefully i will be able to concentrate on painting full time when I retire.
